Hello everyone , all most the biggest dating day of the year ! 

Does it have to be ?  

Why not make every day and every night a loving moment for you and your partner ? 

Humans , we are a breed apart. We have this system in place that tells us of our past .

It speaks to our intellect , as if we could not know ourselves. 

It is there for public view , our most sacred times of life , exposed for all to examine.

This all mighty piece of paper that states we have worth.

What happens when an educated person decides to hide there past from view ?

Are they without thought or wisdom ? 

Have they lost all that once was , because society states , ‘ we do have a need to know ‘ ? 

Society today is a mass of broken pieces. We watch as people scurry around  , all but failing as they try to put the pieces back together , in order to prove there is worth in another human being.

This all seems like a lot of work to me , does it to you too ? 

Perhaps the world needs a new way in which to judge another persons worth of intellect or value.

Maybe that piece of paper will have less value once a new way is found. 

If that is the case , what will happen then ? 

Are we all to be equal when the day is done and twilight as begun ? 

As you think about my preface to this weeks verse , please take note of your own worth.

Why Can`t We ?

Why can`t we hug ?

It cost no money , takes little time.

Why can`t we love ?

I don`t mean sex , I mean caring , 

it does not take money , often takes no time

Why can`t we care ?

We see someone in pain and we

choose to look the other way .

Why can`t we offer  what we have , 

to help others that suffer ?

It would take so little.

We are all human , we are all the same.

Somehow we are all treated different.

If our pockets are smaller or our skin a different color , 

our hearts beat , just as the most beautiful 

of people , the richest of people.

Will someone please tell me why ?

Can someone please tell me why things matter

and people do not ?

If I am to help , how can I help those who do not believe in 

total equality for all ?

Soon I must sleep , before I lay my head , 

can someone tell me please ?

Why we can`t ?

We need to try , don`t we ?
