Hello my friends , I hope you are all well and safe on this day .

We are at a defining moment in the history of our lives and of our world .

Now is not the time for petty differences , now is not the time to wonder where your summer vacation will be. 

Now is not the time to plan birthdays or parties . 

Now is not the time to plan for your future .

Now is the time to understand if we do not stand together as one , our lives will be altered forever.

Now is the time to understand we all make a difference in the lives of the people around us .

It does not matter if you love your neighbor or despise them , it will come full circle back to you. 

Believe me when I say this , you can not run , you can not hide , you can not buy your way to safety or pay for protection .

We are facing a viral agent so pernicious it does not care , about anything or anyone. 

It has only one purpose to cause havoc wherever and whenever it can .

The soul purpose of this beast is to take from all of us , that which it has no right to take .

It is taking our families , it is taking our friends , it is taking our way of life .

That will not do .

I ask all who read this , and I have asked before , but now the time has come to hear my words and to work with me to insure a tomorrow for all of us .

Please stay home as much as possible .

That means staying home and only leaving to get food or medicine or to seek medical care .

If you do not , you are affecting my life .

You are affecting the lives of the ones you love .

You are affecting your very future and mine .

This crisis will end , how it ends depends on all of you acting in a responsible manner. 

Act like you want a future and you will have one.

If you act irresponsibly , this will not end well for many. 

Please stay home , stay strong , and stay alive .

Hello everyone , it has been a while since I posted , sorry about that.

I have been fine , pushing thru a head cold , but hopefully it will not progress into COVID-19.

A lot has changed since my last post , more an more states have a stay at home advisory or have mandated it. Please follow your local authorities advice , in doing so you could be saving the life of a loved one or close friend.

Please remember the coronavirus does not discriminate , it does not care about your ethnicity ,  or where you live and everyone is affected. Even if you are not symptomatic you might still be infected and could possibly affect others more vulnerable than you. 

This week is going to be very bad as far as numbers. More cases will be reported and the death toll may rise. The main reason is not that the virus has mutated into a more virulent stage , but that the system is working and more and more people are getting tested.

As more and more cases are reported , it is important to realize , more and more people are surviving and many have mild symptoms. 

If you do test positive , you may be one that has mild symptoms , so stay strong.

While sheltering from the virus it is important to stay as active as you feel able. Get plenty of rest if you feel ill , medicate as directed.   

Things you can do while at home , is do what you have been wanting to do. Binge on a Netflix series , read that book , do laundry , even cleaning house it a great way to occupy your mind , and that is the important thing and the end goal.

Stay informed , however , don`t stress about what you hear. Remember , more testing is a good thing , but more testing means more people testing positive.

Believe it or not , this is what the experts have been hoping for and it tells us we are getting a grasp of the virus and find more and more cases , will mean more and more people will recover .

I know this is hard for many and scary for those with emotional illness , I understand and remember together we can beat this. 

One soul is only one soul , many people standing as one is a mighty thing , and might things have always triumphed in the end and the result is a far better life for us all.

Hello friends , I hope all of you are well and safe.

The news of the day is prepare for a longer period of precaution than we might not have expected.

According to president Trump , “ it is possible this precautionary period could last until July or August “.

If that will be the case it is better to know the truth rather than trying to come to term with lies at a later date .

Honesty and facts are what we need right now . 

Our life and our transition from Spring to Summer will be different this year . 

Soon warm weather will be upon us  , but we must not let our guard down. 

We must continue to be carful and think of how your current health may affect others .

If you are ill , please stay home . 

We all want to go out and enjoy Spring and Summer , however we truly need to think of others as well as our families if risks are taken .

The last thing you want is to think all has passed , only to find matters worse.

Lastly some suggestions for fun while quarantined . 

If you bought a musical instrument and placed it aside out of frustration , take it out and try again.

You would have nothing to lose and everything to gain. 

Read that book you have been thinking about , now is a great time to lose yourself in a great read.

There are all kinds of places to find vintage TV shows , try them out , you might find the old fashions and ways of the past not so far off from the way we are today !!

And lastly as a family unit the most important past time , ‘talk’ , tell a loved one again how you feel.

Let your sons and daughters know they are loved and cared for and are not forgotten in our current crisis.  The love you give now , will be payed back several times over , and your children will grow to become our great leaders of tomorrow .

In the end we will all be fine , we will. It may not happen as fast as we wanted , but it will end.

In closing , if you are ill , stay home or just leave with caution for supplies and limit your time around others. 

As warmer weather arrives , go for a walk , fresh air and exercise can help your overall health.

Stay safe and be strong , keep informed and use the news to your advantage .

Hello my friends , I pray you are all well. 

In the next week to ten days we should be close to nearly a plateau of cases reported , tested and sadly those who have passed.

I urge you all to cooperate with your state and local officials as well as heed top government advice .

We must leave partisanship aside , lives depend on a successful chain of action and that does start with President Trump.  We must cast aside personal views and realize he is doing his best.

I am suspicious of the information he is receiving and passing along to the general public.

Case in point ‘ Googles ‘website that was supposed to be operational tonight nation wide as reported Friday by President  Trump , however Google is many months away form an actual working website for COVID-19 symptoms and classifications. 

Google is however going to be setting up a similar website for portions of California for testing the functionality of the site.

We must stand together or we will surely be in very tuff shape , lets all pitch in to do our part.

I have been and plan to continue to practice social distancing , for the time being it is the logical course of action and could save many lives in the process.

Also , the government has enacted help for those working and with children to self quarantine if they feel ill or if they feel there actions could benefit others and save from passing what they might have.

We are not just dealing with COVID-19 , we have multiple strains of flu to contend with as well.

Acting in a responsible manner today , will save lives tomorrow.

In closing I will continue to update and inform as needed .

People life has changed and it will do so even more in the days ahead , but if we act with the thought of others , we can get through this.

There is a quote from German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche , “ That which does not kill us , makes us stronger “ .

History can help us and will if you allow it to , we can learn from our past for a better tomorrow.

My friends I hope you all are well , or at least as well as can be.

Below is an outline of my experience in acquiring food and supplies.

I can say it was crazy , but they are scared. There fears are not unfounded.

We are dealing with something so pernicious , it does not care who it attacks. 

To complicate matters people will panic , they will rush to the hospital or doctors office only to get sicker.

The best advice I can offer is to stay home , give the people that serve us have a break.

No one was ready for this , I was not ready , but this is the reality we all must face.

I pray you will all be safe and well , and use your inner strength and trust in your gut.

Take precautions to stay safe , leave your home with caution.

God be with you all ,

Life as we knew it is gone. 

I just got back about an hour ago from shopping and getting gas. The gas part was easy , getting food was a whole new experience .

I have seen many food runs due to snow storms and other temporary events.

When I drove into the parking lot , I was not prepared for what I saw. Here is my morning.

Time , 9 AM :

Drove to get food , as I approached the store the parking lot was almost full. 

I was lucky and found a place to park . I could see inside the store as I walked in , it was unlike anything I have seen to date , including snow emergencies.

People were scared , some taking pictures of bare shelves , other socializing — to what end , who knows. Others scrambling trying to get what was left , people buying toilet paper , bleach etc. 

I was very lucky , I found bread and dinner rolls . I am sad to think they may be my last for some time to come. 

People somehow believe this is all temporary , those who know understand it is not.

People are acting like tomorrow or the next day will be fine , and all this will be behind us.

It will not. However bad it is today , is nothing compared to what tomorrow will be.

How long can one loaf of bread last ? , not long. COVID-19 will last far longer than the supplies I purchased today. 

I have food for a few days , but what happens after that ? , am I afraid I will get sick , yes , but I know I will , it is only a matter of time. 

Now , the only question is ‘ how strong is my constitution ‘ to fight the onslaught my body is about to face. 

I continue to help my fellow man where ever I can , I continue to tell people contact me if I can help.

So far , they are doing the same as I , waiting — hoping — praying.

People this is long term as in months not days. People vying for food today , are going to be looking for scraps to eat by April. This is the sad reality.

I will continue to record thoughts and events for as long as I can , however , it will be sporadic at best.

My final thoughts are to understand , stay informed , and understand home is your safety zone.

Hello Everyone , I hope this beautiful Sunday finds you all well and happy.

On a more serious note this time I offer you a public service announcement .

I know you have heard way to much about what is going on but  ,  it needs to be said and 

perhaps we can all just , think and help each other for that is my goal. 

It would seem there is some nasty bug floating around , I do hope it passes us all bye.

In times as these it is easy to lose track and not remember logic , however it is these times 

when grounding logic will serve us best. 

None of us knows what the immediate future holds  , or  , even the foreseeable future for that matter.

Try to take with you a sense of trust within  , and  , know that however you proceed it is right for you.

The nervous mind is often the first to take ill , so I should caution you all to listen to the news , 

but also listen to yourself . 

It will be our own self reliance that will seize the day and allow it to be ours.

Until next time , please stay safe and vigilant with cautious understanding  , but don`t over-react .

As I tried to find a verse or story from the past , but found none for todays entry , 

I found myself lost for the words to lay to rest the doubts and fears we all have.

All that came to mind are words that have already been stated , but I guess I will state them again.

I ask you all join me in silent memory and peaceful thoughts for those who have passed into the other room.

Let us think of them often , whether we knew them or not , for they were a friend to us all.

Hello my friends , Happy March !!  We have closed out another month , wow !!

I hope as this year progresses we can all take note of life and the cost of freedom we now enjoy. 

Let us all hope and pray it never ends.

Our great nation was built on one very simple idea , help your fellow man , and the gifts of kindness shall be your for the taking. I often miss the good `ole days , when we all lived in a world where if we needed more sugar all we had to do was find a neighbor and asks to borrow a cup of sugar , knowing fair well that cup will never be returned , but it was always kindly given.

Today with everyone in a rush and with 1 hour food delivery in the palm of our hands , visiting a next door neighbor for a cup of sugar has been long ago pass’e to say the least .

None the less , not everyone can get 1 hour rush delivery , sometimes we must plan our trip to get what we need.

As we place in proper order the month that has passed , let us look forward with clearer vision of what may come to pass. The choice is yours , forever shall it last.

What price we pay ? , what plans need to be augmented or laid ?

Why do either ? 

Is this not America ? , land of the free and home of the giving heart ?

Or are we to afraid of what the idiot next door might say or think .

They concern themselves with matters that need not concern them at all .

But still there noses wonder where they do not belong .

They feel by doing so they will garner some sort of wealth or recognition .

In the end they will all be as down as you and I .

Many will call me an unworthy American , however I would rather be

considered unworthy rather than darkening my outer most extremities for no reason .

The land of the free  , home of the brave  , left for greener pastures years ago .

Many believe the ship has yet to sail .

It is off to who knows where , but trust me now  , it will get there .

By Gods grace it will.

Is patriotism not giving of ones self to benefit others in need ?

Is it not acting with a pure heart to want to do good , without ever excepting monetary gains ?

If the answer to my query be of a positive nature , then why ask at all ?

If you should even dare to ask , could I not say thou are not worthy ?

How could you dare to speak in my presence  ,  if you question my word ?

Have you not heard , I am just as human as you .

Are we not of kinder thoughts , are we not people of stronger moral character ?

Do not ask me , find a mirror and speak .
